A Brief History

The Colorado Rapids were founding members of the new Major League Soccer circuit starting in 1996. 

The Rapids advanced to the championship match in their second season, but lost.

In 2010, the Rapids won their first MLS championship.

In 2007 the team rebranded with a new logo and colors.
